Destination 01 · UK → France
France.
Direct routes from the UK to Paris, Provence, Brittany, the Dordogne, the Côte d'Azur. Survey, quote, move — handled door to door.
FIG. 01 · Brief
A corridor we run by hand.
France is the highest-volume corridor on this network and the route we run most often. Channel ports daily; the destination network covers all major regions.
Post-Brexit, the move is paperwork before logistics. ToR1 with HMRC, EORI for the goods, then the French side: carte de séjour scheduling, douanes filing at the entry point, and bilingual destination coordination on the day. We handle the chain end-to-end.

FIG. 05 · Quotes
How quotes work
A surveyor walks the property in the UK before any figure is written down. The written quote is a single fixed figure: transit, customs, insurance, door-to-door handling. Variables are volume, distance to the French address, access at both ends, and whether your dates allow consolidated routing.
"Survey was direct and unrushed. The written quote held to the figure. Crew loaded in London, met us at the property in Aix. Customs paperwork was filed before the lorry left the UK. Nothing went wrong because nothing was left to chance."
FIG. 06 · Common questions
France-specific.
-
Transit times depend on route, customs throughput, and consolidation scheduling. Your written quote will include an indicative window for your specific move.
-
Most household goods owned more than six months qualify for transfer-of-residence relief and move duty-free. We file ToR1 with HMRC and the French equivalent on your behalf. Recently-purchased items are flagged at survey.
-
No — that is your application to the French prefecture. We coordinate the move so your goods arrive after your appointment is confirmed, not before.
-
Common in old village centres. We stage from a smaller delivery vehicle on the village outskirts and complete the final mile by transit van. Flagged at survey.
-
Yes. Indoor partner depots in Lille, Lyon, Marseille. Flexible duration; charged separately to the move.
-
Yes. Pianos travel in dedicated cradles with specialist movers. Art ships in custom crates with art-grade wrapping. Both itemised in the quote.

The destination coordinator does. They brief the gardien, arrange access, and coordinate any same-day connections you need.

Storage is available at the UK departure end and at all four French destination depots. We hold your goods until you have access to the property.
